Scammer claiming to be from Scotiabank. Told them to piss off.Call Type: Scam

By Tony on Apr 13, 2018

Said they were from Scotiabank, trying to either sell me life insurance, or say that I was eligible for free coverage. Wouldn't take no for an answer, so I hung up. They just kept going on and on about how this is a great deal, and that they would send me documentation in a week or two, and that I could check it out 'from the comfort of my home.' The background noise sounds like the person is in a call center.Call Type: Scam

Called mobile at 8 PM Wednesday. When I answered and said hello, the caller hung up right away without saying a word.

These morons don't get it, I have an account with SCOTIA my husband too has rights and is on this account yet they insist on calling and won't give him any information when he says I'm at work and he can help them as he is an account holder too, they say they can't talk to him because I am the main account holder so I called back left a nice message once, telling them do NOT call my number again they were to cease and desist immediately or I would be closing my Scotia account permanently WELL now the doucebags call me on my cell so Monday I will be ending my relationship with Scotia as they gave my number out to these doucebags I will never look back. warned these people never leave a message and I will be reporting them to CRTC.Call Type: Telemarketer

They call regularly but don't leave a message. If in fact it's Bell, then it must be a sales call since I have no Bell products or services.
